What you have here is bunny-stomping, shooting-fish-in-a-barrel slobbering over drunk underage girls, one of whom happens to be your daughter. That's hardly enough. In this sub-genre you have to pay SOME attention to kinship, all of the taboos involved in the behaviors described in your tale, taking into account the risk-evaluations, conflicting aims, and multiple wills (your central character's and those of the characters with whom that one interacts), and so on. If you don't do that, you're selling shabby goods, or, at best, a masturbatory substitute for an i/t yarn. Does this seem harsh? I don't mean it to be. Your story here isn't that far off the average presented here, but I'm in the mood to write critically, and you have the bad luck to be the 'case' I work on while I do that. Don't let it stop you from trying again; you'll do better. |
