Or is it economics fuelling your want to have your troops brought home? I am an UK citizen and five years ago I voted with my feet to walk out on the country that followed you to war. I am concerned as I believe those opinions flawed otherwise I wouldn’t have raised my first comment. I see it as a mother or teacher coaxing a child to grow to become an ethical person. People are entitled to their views but when those views are known to be objectionable and are put forward for the sole purpose of causing hostility comment is needed. All animals think, in general it’s self-awareness that separates us from animals although that boundary is becoming blurred. |

I live in the uk and not the usa.It is not economics that makes me want the troops home but a sense of outrage that they are fighting at all. Have you noticed that most wars are fought not for the morals and ethics of what is right or wrong as with the second world war but on purely religious or sellf centred motives.Why is it that so called humans try to inflict usually by force their beliefs on others and have no consideration of what others might or might not believe? If you left the uk 5 years ago where are you living now? It is a pity that we cannot have a face to face conversation as I think we would get on fine together. Different opinions should not get in the way of friendship. I have a high regard for you. |
