| 2007-07-22 12:14:27 | Hi Peter. Seeing that you read my comment, let me add something. I actually want to recommend a book for you to read, and use. It's by Syd Field "The Foundations of Screenwriting". It's kind of the bible for screenplay writing but can also be used to set up a story. In the book he gives plenty of examples with reference to well known movies like Chinatown, Starwars etc. These basics are simple to use. The genius comes in on defining what you want. The screenplay writing starts with the beginning AND the end. Then you fill in how to lead from one to the other and keep your audience interested and fixed to the screen. I bought it because I am developing a screenplay and it helped me tremendously. Anyway, I thought I'd mention this - consider it my return for having enjoyed your story.
