| 2006-09-05 01:36:11 | End of the world - Chapter 8 | I hate to say it folks, but I knew it was coming... I just knew. It's the classic struggle of fathers against sons and visa versa. Still, it was one helluva story. I hated to see it end but of course it had to sometime - and proves the point that regardless of how well one rears a child or children, there's always a bad egg destined to rise to the surface occassionally. Mother Nature does that to keep us from being bored I guess. I saw only one flaw in the story. The fact that inbreeding reenforces genetic traits, both good and bad. In other words, there weren't any offspring with the genetic birth defects that nearly always arise from such unions. Sorry if I'm being too serious, but even fiction should be accurate while being entertaining. But again - good story. |
