| 2006-10-09 17:08:49 | End of the world - Chapter 8 | I have seen the question posted a couple of times and also noticed a couple of wrong guesses. I did not reply earlier because, frankly I wanted it left that way. I wanted to wonder myself, who was it? If you read the story you can determine the following: It was not Jason. The narrator of the epilogue mentions Jason already leaving. For the same reason it cannot be Paul. Richard and David were taking the two girls out the back of the house so it cannot be them. That leaves Tom, Sam, Jimmy and James. Take your pick. In reading the story again to be sure of this I found I goofed. There were supposed to be eight on the trip. If you look closely, Dan actually sets out with nine. I forgot to count him when I came up with the eight. |
