Depending who the author is, they may begin with a dollar a book. 4. An author can take a book to a vanity press, and have it printed himself, then attempt to sell it to the public, however unless the author has five to ten thousand dollars available, this can’t be done either. I hope you see my dilemma. This series has only been read by just over 3100 people, and found acceptable by 80% of those, which means only 2400 people really liked it. Even though they did like it, less than one hundred people took the time out to send in a comment. While I very much like writing and I enjoy the comments which are sent in, I don’t believe I’m in the company of Dan Brown, Tom Clancy of even Dann |

There are several problems involved with this. 1.In order to go mainstream with the book, all of the sex scenes would have to be toned down to metaphors. There would be no more hot sex play between characters. In order for a writer to become an author, he or she first needs an agent to represent him or her. Most agents will not handle you unless you are very good, or have something which is earth shattering, like the “De Vinci Code”. |
