Most 5th grade boys are more into video games and skateboarding than being "devastated". !!!! that's the part that sounds unrealistic and kind of offbase. would have been better if both had been in Jr. High and then a somewhat older guy with his hormones kicking in might be "devastated", but even then, that's still a stretch. It's just the choice of words and opening scene that needs to be more real. |
