2004-10-27 19:10:01 | Mother's Girl 2 | Indirectly, both of the last two readers are paying me a great compliment which I find most gratifying. Thanks to you both! But for heaven's sake read (particularly you, Hotlilkat4u) what it says at the head of the story. The word is 'fiction'. I'm sorry to blow my cover here, but Ricardo (me) is male; I just write some stories from a woman's viewpoint. And Hotlilkat4u; I think you have more chance of rotting in hell for your sins one of which has to be lust (or what exactly are you doing on this site in the first place?) Blessed are the peacemakers (as it says in the good book!) |
2004-11-14 16:15:53 | Mother's Girl 2 | LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Twenty years after the release of one of the biggest singles of all time, leading British artists gathered on Sunday to re-record the Bob Geldof-inspired charity hit "Do They Know It's Christmas?" Paul McCartney, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Jamelia and The Darkness were among those at a London studio to record the single, which bookmakers have already tipped for the Christmas number one spot. "It's time to recreate the magic, and perhaps add a little of our own," The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins told Xfm radio. Geldof and Ultravox singer Midge Ure created Band Aid, a supergroup of 40 artists, in 1984 and with the hit single raised over 10 million pounds ($18 million) for famine relief in Ethiopia. Ure has described the latest line-up as a "who's who of cooln |
2004-11-16 13:35:56 | Mother's Girl 2 | Stephen Collura: Although, I agree that the new British single 'Do they know its Christmas? is a good way of raising money for famine relief, in principle, I strongly object to you using this particular platform to air your views on the subject. I seriously doubt your connection with Reuters or any other responsible body of a similar nature. Also, from recent publicity in the British Press on this subject, it would seem that todays pop musicians are a bunch of self centred and selfish egotists bent only on their own overwheening sense of self importance. They are a pale shadow of the original grouping. There has been far too much bickering about who sings which line. If they had any talent, they would have written a new song! You want to air your views Stephen then get your own web site! |

2005-04-29 15:09:32 | Mother's Girl 2 | very good! very good indeed! it really feels like non-fiction and has non of the bad grammar and spelling other stories are plagued with! i'd love you to write some more, but maybe you could take ideas and inspiration from people. they could mail you ideas and you could put your considerable skill to work inmaking more great stories! 10/10 |
