I don't dislike you Kimiko, and it isn't unfair for the writer to vote for their own story --- once. What is unfair, and stupid on the part of the site manager, is that someone can rate a story a bunch of times and get it to jump up high on the new highly rated list. Then people have to slog through what many consider to be crap to find the good stories, and some of them rated a true 7 or above, usually worth reading, are off the list cause some jackass bumped a stupid one up. It was only an assumption that it was you doing it, but from your comments it looks like that was right. Just don't vote for your own story more than once and it wont happen like this. |
