This story has been a fair study in life after decivilization, quasi-realistic in the social dealings of a small social group totally isolated by death. But it would be a statistical anomoly for any group of medically primitive people to have 80+ children without a single incident of death by childbirth. I'm just saying it would add another emotional layer if one of the "daughters" this lucky bastard was knocking up survived a birth where her mother did not. |
