To peace: A rose by any other name, right? When you say Robert was the only one with common sense, I must disagree. His brother Jim the jr. college teacher seemed reasonably level headed, except for his choice of “friends”. His dad was typical of mid-western folk, except for molesting his stepdaughter. Mom just wanted to keep her family together. Eric was a football player and not prone to intellectual pursuits. Many people have stated the story should go on, however like many writers I feel the reader’s imagination should finish the story. As for normal lives, if you were mom or the brother Eric what would you think of incest between Robert and Katie? Thanks for the left-handed accolade, “it was a good concept and an entertaining story.” Posting a new one, hopefully with more substance. |
