While Schools and divorces did not exist at that time, in the same sense that they do now, generally wealthy people had a few books in which they could use to study and a tutor to assist them. Technically, divorce still doesn’t exist in Catholicism, however if the Vatican is offered enough money, a divorce will be granted as it was in my brother-in-laws case. The going price was 2,500 dollars at the time, which was eight years ago. I imagine it is much more now. og |
| 2006-10-29 23:46:59 | Pope Joan 1 | While Pope Joan is not accepted as fact by everyone, especially not the Catholic Church, it has a strong basis in legend which is a non-historical or unverifiable story handed down by tradition from earlier times and popularly accepted as historical fact by many historians. Similar to that of Moses parting the red sea, and Noah and the flood. Some of the reasons Joan could be very well be fact, will be addressed in my story. There are many irrefutable facts, which indicate that something occurred with a female in the Vatican. The readers will be able to determine what they wish to believe. (to below) |
