| 2007-04-21 20:15:57 | The Cherry Popper Chapter 10 | After reading the comments from the first commenter on this chapter (who didn't bother to give his/her name) I wanted to put in my two cents worth. First of all let me say that when I write a story I don't write it for other people, I write the kind of story I'd like to read. For me that means a story that has things like plot, character development, and a realistic dialog. When other people like what I write that's just a bit plus. The only time I've ever heard the kind of conversation the reader says he'd like to see is in a porno movie, and let's face it, those talks are pretty stupid even in that context. I have to wonder, since the reader has such strong opinions on what people like in their sex stories I have to wonder how many stories he's written and what kind of ratings they've gotten. So what do you think? Should I stick with my own writing philosophy? Or should I consider the reader's recommendations? |
