I believe you did a splendid job on this story. It contained alot of imagery which was perfect for this kind of entertainment. I simply wished you had added more on to the endof the tale!:) |

Hey 'Chobit Fan' I'm going to have to watch what I write now with you reading every word! This is the third of your comments I've found in the last hour! You're right about spellcheck but that only works if you write in 'word' first. Most of my stories are written straight onto this site, usually in one writing session. Spellcheck doesn't always pick up mistakes. It doesn't always know the difference between 'there', 'their' and 'they're' for example and it always assumes that Yankspeak is better than Britspeak ( 'Color' and 'colour'...... the cheek of it!) But keep the comments coming; at least I know you're still reading it! And I know what you mean about writing to the fuckwits! It gives me a lot of amusement as well! Welcome aboard! |

Thanks 'Weebil'. The trouble with adding more onto the end is that sometimes it upsets the balance of the story (at least in my eyes) . In writing these kind of short stories like any 'tale' there has to be a beginnining, a middle and an end .. a conclusion ... call it what you will. If you overload one section, you'd have to expand the others and I feel that the impact of the story would be lessened. I know a lot of writers on this site write multiple section narratives. I wouldn't want to do that. You either set out to write a novel or a short story and this site is ideal for the latter but not really for the former. However, why not drop me a line or use this forum if you prefer and tell me how you would have liked to see this story conclude. |

This was a good story & well written. It did end just a tad early but still did its job, if you know what I mean. Great job though! Maybe Sue & Karen are reading it right now! ;) |
