| 2004-09-22 14:13:19 | Episode I: Of the Adventures of John and Holly | I am happy to see how high the rating is, 9/10, right now with 17 votes, which if it keeps that up it would take the crown as highest rated story on the entire site. i have already begun work on my next piece, which, sorry for you, is not sexually related. It is quite epic, i had this idea, well pieces of it, for a while. I just wrote a roadmap for it, and the roadmap is 4000 words. I didn't think i would ever write this, because i didn't think i could do my idea justice, but since this (episode I) is so long, i think i can. I never thought i could write anything this long. I pulled a book off my shelf, ordinary paperback, and counted the # of words on a page, i got around 300, so i divided the # of words in E 1, which i think is around 52000, and it would be over 200 pages. 200 in 1 mont |

| 2004-09-25 01:45:51 | Episode I: Of the Adventures of John and Holly | Well it may seem that way but honestly i dont care about the rating, i want to recieve actual feedback, which doesnt seem to happen on this site. I get lots of 'good' and 'nice story', which is appreciated but i much rather hear the negatives, because i hold no illusions about the quality of this. I know my writing is nowhere near where it could be, and when i try to read it all i see are flaws and things i don't like. I have not actually read through any of these after i revised them each once as i finished them. I cant read them, i have tried but i just can't do it. I only see the flaws in my work. So it becomes hard to see my own work objectively, thats why i want to see that it got a high rating, because that tells me that it isn't as bad as i perceive it to be. |
