Check out your Disney stories and watch "Beauty and the Beast". Basically the ugly guy gets the girl. Read the other comments, and you will see that most of us like it. I know I am speaking for the rest of the readers when I say that you should, find a short story, that is no more than thirty lines or so, of a guy involved with his mother or his sister and you will probably be happy.
